Common Name The Isochilus-Like Polystachya

Found in Tanzania on forest margins at elevations of 800 to 1400 meters as a miniature to medium sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with approximate, terete, basally slightly swollen stem envelop0ed basally by 1 to 2 scarious, tubular sheaths and carrying 3 to 5, almost erect, linear to linear-ligualte, shortly obtuse to subacutely bidentate apically leaves that blooms on an upright, simple, very rarely branched, to 6.8" to [17 cm] long, the peuncle 4.8" [12 cm] long, the rachis 2" [5 cm] long, densely pubescent, 4 to many flowered inflorescence with lanceoalte, to raely ovate, long-acuminate floral bracts.
