Found in Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Ivory Coast and Cameroon at elevations of 400 to 1500 meters as a mini-miniature to small sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte with close set, globose pseudobulbs carrying 3 to 6, lanceolate to oblanceolate leaves that blooms in the winter on a usually unbranched, 3.6 to 12" [9 to 30 cm] long, several to many flowered inflorescence.
