Found in Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua in wet montane forests at elevations around 900 meters as a small sized, warm growing epiphyte with slender, tapering pseudobulbs carrying 3, apical, linear-ligulate, obliquely retuse, conduplicate, basally clsping leaves that blooms in the fall on a terminalpaniculate, 7.2" [18 cm] long, slightly compressed, arching, many flowered inflorescence
