Found in Zimbabwe, Swaziland and Natal South Africa in subtropical forests in trees and shrubs at elevations of 500 to 1300 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with close set, ovoid pseudobulbs carrying 2 to 3, erect, thin, flat, lorate-elliptic leaves that blooms in the later spring on an erect, terminal, same length or longer than the leaves, 4 to 10 flowered inflorescence carrying non-resupinate flowers.
