Common Name or Meaning The Mountain Loving Polystachya

Found in Madagascar in lichen forests at elevations of 950 to 2150 meters as a miniature to small sized, cool growing epiphyte or lithophyte with a simple to rarely branched, slightly sinuate, in a linear series, elongate, narrow pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, very thin, basally subcordate, shortly clasping, widely lanceolate leaves that blooms all most year round on a terminal, erect, to 5" [12.5 cm] long, finely pubescent, 18 to 20 flowered inflorescence.
