Flower Size 9/16" to 5/8" [1.4 to 1.6 cm]

Found in Madagascar on shady and or bare rocks at elevations around 500 to 1800 meters as a medium sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with elongated pseudobulbs enveloped basaslly by 3 to 4 inflated acuminate sheaths and carrying 2 to 3 narrowly lanceolate, basally clasping leaves that blooms in the summer on an erect, often simple several flowered inflorescence with 3 very short basal sheaths and floral bracts that are less than 1/3 the length of the pedicel
