Found in northeastern and central Madagascar in eriaceous scrub and humid lichen rich forests at elevations of 1000 to 1800 meters as a mini-miniature to miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with tiny, obscure pseudobulbs carrying linear-ligulate, curved, falcate, 5 veined leaves that blooms in the summer on a terminal, erect, thin, hirsute, loosely few flowered inflorescence
