Found in Narino department of Colombia at elevations of 1200 to 1400 meters as a small sized, cool growing epiphyte with aggregate, ovoid, 5 longitudinally furrowed pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, plicate, broadly elliptic, gradually narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms on a curved, to 10.4" [26 cm] long, 11 flowered inflorescence.
