Flower Size

Found in Comoros and Madagascar in high elevation ericaceous scrub and humid forests at elevations of sea level to 1500 meters as a small sized, cool growing lithophytic orchid with fusiform pseudobulbs enveloped basally by 2 to 3 sheaths and carries 2 to 5, ligulate, longly attenuate toward the base and obtuse apically, rigid, coriaceous leaves that blooms in the winter on a terminal to 10" [to 25 cm] long, slightly pubescent, 6 to 12 flowered inflorescence.
