to
Common Name The Kampong Setul Pomatocalpa [An Area of penninsular Malaysia]
Flower Size .2" [5 mm]
The pendant, green and maroon, racemose, 6.8" [17 cm] long, inflorescence of this Malaysian monopodial epiphyte produce many densely spaced small yellow flowers in late winter and spring from the lower leaf axils. The pendant growing plant has a short stem and 4 to 5, thick, undulate margins, rounded and unequally bilobed apically leaves and is best mounted on a slab because of the manner in which the flowers are presented. Cited as a synonym of Pomatocalpa spicatum but I will leave them separate pending more information.
