Found in New Guinea and the Solomon Islands on trees and smallshrubs at elevations of 200 to 250 meters as a miniature to small sized, hot growing epiphyte with a very short stem carrying erect-spreading, glabrous, ligulate, unequally and obtusely bilobed apcially leaves that blooms in the winter on a very short, to 1.2” [3 cm] long, densely several flowered inflorescence with small, obtuse floral bracts.
