Common Name or Meaning The White Flowered Pomatocalpa

Found only in New Guinea in lowland forests at elevations of 250 to 700 meters as a small to medium sized, hot to warm growing, monopodial epiphyte with a thick and woody stem carrying yellow green, leathery, round and bilobed apically, linear leaves that are basally conduplicate and clasping the stem that blooms in the fall on a basal to axillary, 10" [25 cm] long, stiffly spreading, branched, many flowered inflorescence with close set, long-lasting flowers.
