Common Name The Spotted Pomatocalpa - in Thailand - Ueang sua phaeo

Found in the eastern Himalayas, Sri Lanka, the Andaman Islands, Thailand, Nicobar Islands, Laos, Malaysia, Java and the Philippines at elevations of 10 to 600 meters as a large sized, hot to warm growing epipyhyte or terrestrial with elongate stems carrying 20, dark green leaves that blooms in the late fall in the northern hemisphere on 1 to 3 at a time, stiffly erect, to 18" [45 cm] long, shortly branched, many flowered inflorescence with up to 10 flowers open at any one time.
