Found in the Cuzco department of Peru in open shady areas in highland rainforests at elevations of 2000 to 2500 meters as a small sized, cold growing epiphyte or occasional terrestrial with rosulate, pendent, linear-oblanceolate, villose, grey-green, acute, gradually narrowing into the petillate abse leaves that blooms in the fall on an erect, yellow green, shorter than the leaves, [16 cm] long overall, rachis 1.4" [3 cm] long, laxly pendent, few flowered inflorescence with upturned apices and ovate, abruptly acute floral bracts. .
