Found in Jalisco and Morelos states of Mexico in grasslands within oak forests at elevations around 1600 meters as a miniature to small sized, cool growing terrestrial with 3 to 4, elliptic to obovate-elliptic, glabrous leaves held in a basal rosette, that blooms in the latter summer on an erect, scapose, racemose, 7 to 15 flowered inflorescence carrying non-resupinate white flowers.
