Found in Ecuador, Peru and Brazil as a miniature to small sized terrestrial with a rosette of a few, ovate, acute, reticulate, gradually narrowing below into the elongate petiolate base leaves that blooms on a terminal, erect, 14" [35 cm] long, several flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, acute inflated bracts and smaller, similar, much shorter than the ovary floral bract
