Flower Size .16" [4 mm]

Found in Colombia, Ecuador and Peru at elevations around 2700 meters as a small to medium sized, cold growing terrestrial with 3 to 7, basal, villose on both sides, oblanceolate to elliptic-oblanceolate, abruptly acuminate, gradually tapering below into the conduplicate, petiolate base leaves that blooms in the summer and fall on an erect, pubescent throughout, to 22" [55 cm] long overall, rachis to 6" [to 15 cm] long, subdensely many flowered inflorescence that is remotely 3 sheathed and has ovate to ovate-lanceolate, acute to subacuminate floral bracts with glabrous throught flowers.
