Found in Cochabamba department of Bolivia wet montane forests at elevations around 1880 meters as a miniature to small sized, cool growing pubescent terrestrial with fleshy villose roots giving rise to a roseete of 3, basal, pubescent, linear-elliptic, narrowing below into the conduplicate, subpetiolate base leaves that blooms in the fall on a terminal, erect, densely pubescent, with 1 to 2 tubular ovate sheaths near the base, 4 to 6 flowered inflorescence with triangular floral bracts and carrying non-resupinate flowers with a light maroon, pubescent dorsal sepal, yellow apex petals, the rest maroon, lip green with darker spots in the interior and a maroon anther.
