Common Name The Bornean Porpax
Flower Size 2.4" [6 cm]
Found in northern Borneo low primary hill forests in ultramafic habitats often at the base of Gymnostoma sumatrana trees or adpressed to rocks at elevations of 600 to 1000 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot to warm growing epipiphyte or lithophyte with a creeping rhizome giving rise to flattened, ovoid, often bilobed pseudobulb enveloped in youth by a sheath and carrying 1 to 2, oblong to oblongovate, minutely retuse to asymetric apically, glabrous leaves that blooms in the summer on a short, proteranthous, basal, .16" [4 mm] long, single flowered inflorescence.
