Common Name or Meaning The 2 Pored Porolabium - In China Kong Chung Lan

Found in northwestern Yunnan, Qinghai and Shanxi provinces of China in montane grasslands and lakesides at elevations of 3000 to 4200 meters as a miniature sized, cold growing terrestrial with a globose, unlobed, fleshy tuber giving rise to a slender, erect stem with 2 to 3 tubular sheaths carrying a single, linear-lanceolate, amplexicaul basally, obtuse apically leaf that blooms in the late spring on an erect, 6 to 8 flowered inflorescence with small floral bracts.
