Found in Borneo and Papua New Guinea in hill forests at elevations around 1000 meters as a small sized, warm to cool growing epiphtye that blooms in the winter and early spring on 1 4 to 6" [10 to 15 cm] long, branched, red, several flowered inflorescence.
Schlechter states that the entire inflorescence is a lustrous red.
