Common Name or Meaning The Reticulate Porpax [refers to the netted Pseudobulbs] - The Gramophone Orchid

Flower Size

Found in India, Laos, Thailand and Vietnam in moist deciduous forests and semi-evergreen forests as a mini miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with an orbicular to discoid, well adpressed to the substratum pseudobulb enveloped by white sheaths with reticulate nerves carrying [after blooming] 2, oblong-elliptic, minutely papillate, obtuse, sessile leaves that blooms in the later spring on a short, single flowered inflorescence arising with an undeveloped pseudobulb and the plant no leaves at blooming .
