Found in Zamora-Chinchipe province of Ecuador at elevations around 1400 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with semi-terete, sulcate adaxially, keeled abaxially ramicauls enveloped by 3 sheaths and carryinga single, apical, erct, coriaceous elliptic, acute, gradually narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the later winter on an erect to horizontal, peduncle glabrous, slender, terete, 4.32" [10.8 cm] long, provided with 2 tubular bracts, congested, successively few flowered inflorescence.
