Common Name The Scaped Porpax [refers to the elongate {for the genus} inflorescence]

Flower Size .28" [7 mm]

Found in northern Thailand at elevations of 1450 to 1550 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with broadly conical in youth, becoming much flattened with age as well as covered with a network of fibers feft from the disintegrating sheath and carrying 2, apical, ovate-lanceolate, present at blooming leaves that blooms on a synanthous, .28 to .32" [7 to 8 mm] long, with 2 small, dark bracts and a large, broad, single flowered inflorescecnce with a floral bract enveloping the lower part of the flower.

Seidenfaden states that this flower within the genus Porpax most approaches the section Conchidium of the genus Eria and needs more research.
