Found in Arunachal Pradesh India in subtropical evergreen forests on koss covered tree branches at elevations around 1000 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with close set, sub-orbicular, discoid pseudobulbs enveloped by a network of fibers left froma disintegrating sheath and carrying 2 sub-opposite, minutely puberulous margins and edges, elliptic-oblong tooblanceolate, acute, narrowing below into the basally clasping leaves that blooms in the later spring on a short 2 flowered inflorescence concealed within the leaf bases and carrying rust brown, pubescent flowers.
