Found in Thailand in dry deciduous dipterocarp forest on degraded limestone hills at elevations around 800 to 900 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with close set, flattened triangular to globose pseudobulbs as well as covered with a network of fibers feft from the disintegrating sheath and carrying 2, apical, ovate-lanceolate, present at blooming or arising after, dull green, elliptic to oblong, acute, fasint longitudinally lined, tapering below into the petiolate base leaves that blooms in the spring on a basal, short, single flowered inflorescence with conspicuous, ovate to rounded, apex acute, as ong as the ovary floral bracts.
