Found in Yunnan province of China, Vietnam, Thailand and Myanmar in valley forests on trees at elevations of 50 to 1500 meters as a miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte or lithophyte with flattened, round pseudobulbs carrying, 2, apical, pubescent, elliptical leaves and blooms in the spring on a terminal, short, one to 2 flowered inflorescence that arises from the apex of the pseudobulb
