Found in Western Australia Australia in sparse to shrubby forests, winter wet seepage areas and on granite outcrops at elevations of 5 to 400 meters as a miniature to small sized, cold growing terrestrial with a single, linear to terete, elongate leaf that blooms in the winter through spring on an erect, 3.2" to 10" [8 to 25 cm] long, rachis 2.4 to 6" [6 to 15 cm] long, 5 to 30 flowered inflorescence carrying well spaced to moderately crowded flowers
