Found in Victoria Australia in remnant grasslands and grassy woodlands as a small sized, cold growing terrestrial with a single leaf that blooms in the late winhter and earlier spring on an erect, 6 to 12" [15 to 30 cm] long overall, rachis 2.4 to 6" [6 to 15 cm] long, 10 to 25 flowered inflorescence and carrying fragrant flwoers
"Similar to Prasophyllum petilum from grassland habitats in NSW and the ACT, but has a denser inflorescence with more flowers, a more abruptly taperd labellum and blunt (rather than acute) column appendages". The VicFlora Website
