Found in New South Wales in grassy forests amd russock grasslands at elevations of 900 to 1000 meters as a small to medium sized, cold growing terrestrial with a single leaf that blooms in the late spring and early summer on an erect, 10 to 16" [25 to 40 cm] long ovarall, rachis 2 to 3.6" [5 to 9cm] long, 15 to 30 flowered inflorescence carrying crowded flowers
