Found in New South Wales among grass tussocks in woodlands at elevation of 900 to 1100 meters as a medium sized, cold growing terrestrial with a single canaliculate leaf that blooms in the late fall and early winter on an erect, 12 to 20" [30 to 50 cm] long, rachis 2 to 4.4" [5 to 11 cm] long, 5 to 25 flowered inflorescence with moderately crowded, fragrant flowers
