Found in New South Wales in grasslands at elevations of 800 to 900 meters as a medium sized, cold growing terrestrial with a single leaf that blooms in the spring on an erect, 12 to 20" [30 to 50 cm] long, overall, rachis 4 to 8" [10 to 20 cm] long, 10 to 35 flowered inflorescence carrying well spaced to crowded flowers
