Found in New South Wales in grasslands at elevations of 800 to 1000 meters as a small to medium sized, cold growing terrestrial with a single, stem clasping leaf that blooms in the later spring and summer on an erect, 10 to 24" [25 to 60 cm] long, 5 to 30 flowered inflorescence and carrying non-resupinate, fragrant flowers
