Found in Victoria in grasslands at elevations around 430 meters as a small to just large sized, cold growing terrestrial with a single, stem clasping leaf that blooms in the late winter and early spring on an erect, 10.4 to 20.4" [26 to 52 cm] long, 10 to 25 flowered inflorescence and carrying non-resupinate, lightly scented flowers
