Found in southwest Western Australia in sparse to shrubby forests, winter wet seepage areas and on granite outcrops at elevations of 5 to 400 meters as a mini-miniature to miniature sized cold groiwng terrestrial with a single, green sometimes reddish, tube shaped leaf that blooms in the winter through mid spring on an erect, 3.2 to 10" [8 to 25 cm] long overall, rachis 2.4 to 6" [6 to 15 cm] long, 5 to 40 flowered inflorescence.
