Found in South Australia and Victoria in coastal scrub and heath on stabilized dunes and swales at elevations of 5 to 30 meters as a medium sized, cold growing terrestrial with a single, stem clasping leaf that blooms in late spring and early summer on an erect, 15.2 to 22.8" [38 to 57 cm] long, 15 to 40 flowered inflorescence and carrying non-resupinate flowers
