Found in eastern New South Wales Australia at elevations of 100 to 200 meters as a small to medium sized, cold growing terrestrial with a slender stem carrying a broad and remote bract that blooms in the mid summer to mid fall on an erect, short, hardly crowded, 5 to 20 flowered inflorescence.
