Found in Victoria Australia at elevations of 1200 to 1600 meters in in low herbfields of subalpine plains and meadows as a medium sized, cold growing terrestrial with a single leaf that blooms in the late spring and summer on an erect, [32 to 47 cm] long, 12 to 14 flowered inflorescence with moderately crowded, fragrant flowers.
