Common Name The Cucullate Prasophyllum - In Australia The Hooded Pouch Orchid

Flower Size .24 to .32" [.6 to .8 cm]

Found in Western Australia in coastal forests and shrublands at elevations of 5 to 100 meters as a small to medium sized, cold growing terrestrial with a single, narrowly linear, acute, free part erect leaf that blooms in the late winter through spring on an erect, [20 to 40 cm] long, 10 to 50 flowered inflorescence and carrying crowded slightly fragrant flowers
