Found in Victoria Australia in heathy woods at elevations around 250 meters as a small to medium sized, cold growing terrestrial with a slender stem carrying a single, terete, stem clasping leaf that blooms in the spring on an erect, 8.4 to 16" [21 to 40 cm] long, 7 to 15 flowered inflorescence and carrying non-resupinate, unscented flowers
