Found in Minas Gerais in fields as a miniature to small sized, cool growing terrestrial with rosulate, basal, erect, ovate-oblong to ovate-lanceolate, acute, longly attenuate into the pseudopetiolate base leaves that blooms in the fall and winter on a terminal, erect, densely many flowered inflorescence.
CAUTION I am not convinced that this determination is correct, but it is consistent with 2 botanical institutions within Brazil, so I must go along. The only reference [Hoehne] that I have is positively not this species so I await better references.
