Common Name or Meaning The Elongate Pritiglottis [refers to the elongate lip]
Flower Size .6" [1.6 cm]
Found in Sumatra and Java in dark primary forests at elevations of 500 to 1800 meters as a small sized, hot to cool growing terrestrial orchid with 5 to 8, oval, shiny dark green with three main sunken veins, undulate margins, acute, leaves that blooms in the winter on an erect, to 3.6" [9cm] long, shortly pubescent, 3 to 6 flowered inflorescence with the flowers well spaced and with lanceolate, reddish brown floral bracts.
