Common Name or Meaning Hasselt's Odontochilus [Dutch Botanist in Indonesia 1800's]

Found in Sumatra, Java and Borneo in dark primary forests at elevations of 1400 to 1700 meters as a miniature sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial orchid with a terete, short stem carrying 3, ovate-oblong, acute, purplish to brownish beneath leaves with the largest being in the middle and blooms in the later spring on an erect, hairy, very short, 1 to 2 flowered inflorescence with narrowly lanceolate, acute floral bracts
