Common Name The Spotted Odontochilus
Flower Size 1.2" [3 cm]
Found in Thailand and penninsular Malaysia in hillevergreen forests at elevations of 100 to 1200 meters as a mini-miniature to miniature sized, hot to warm growing terrestrial with a leafy erect stem carrying 4 to 8, scattered on the stem, very dark greenish brown with green spots above and pale greenish brown beneath, ovate to lanceolate, acute to acuminate, often mucronate, basally clasping leaves that blooms in the later spring on a terminal, glabrous, short, 1 to 2 flowered inflorescence with linear to linear-lanceolate, acuminate, subequal to the ovaries floral bracts.
