Found in Santa Catarina Brazil as a mini=miniature sized epiphyte with aggregate, ovoid-ellipsoid, laterally compressed pseduobulbs enveloped basally by foliaceous sheaths and carrying 2, apical, erect-patent, lanceolate-ligulate, acute to acuminate, dlabrous, attenuate and conduplicate below into the base that blooms on an arcuate, thin, 1.4" [3.5 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with 3 bracts and lanceolate, acuminate, glabrous, slightly longer than the pedicel floral bracts.
