Common Name Fuerstenberg's Promenaea [Brazilian Orchidist 1900's]

Found in Santa Catarina state of Brazil as a miniature sized epiphyte with ovoid, laterally compressed pseduobulbs enveloped basally by foliaceous sheaths and carrying erect-patent, ligulate-lanceolate, acuminate, attenuate below into the base leaves that blooms on an erect to reclining, axillary, 1.2 to 1.6" [3 to 4 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with lanceolate-oblong, acuminate, shorter to just as long as the pedicel.
