Common Name Vasquez's Prosthechea [Bolivian botanist and Plant collector current]

Flower Size 1.12" [2.8 cm]

Found in Cochabamba department of Bolivia at elevations around 1880 meters as a miniature sized, warm growing, lithophyte with a long, trailing, horizontal rhizome with to 4" [10 cm] between each spindle-shaped pseudobulb and carrying 2 to 3, ligulate, obtuse leaves that blooms on a terminal, arising through a spathe, erect, to 8" [to 20 cm] long, simultaneously few to several flowered inflorescence with inconspicuous, much shorter than the pedicel floral bracts and carrying non-resupinate flowers.
