Found in New South Wales, Victoria and possibly South Australia at elevations of 50 to 800 meters in drier forests as a small sized, cold growing terrestrial with a slender stem carrying 2 to 6, closely sheathing bracts that blooms in the spring on an erect, 4 to 10" [10 to 25 cm] long, 1 to 10 flowered inflorescence with bracts subtending each pedicel.
