Common Name The Narrow Pterostylis - The Narrow Shell Orchid

Flower Size .48 to .6" [1.2 to 1.5 cm]

Found in South Western Australia in open forests and woodlands often under shrubs at elevations of 10 to 450 meters as a cold growing terrestrial with a rosette of basal, dark bluish green leaves that blooms in tha fall and earlier winter on an erect, 3.2 to 8" [8 to 20 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence carrying a flower that leans forward.
