Common Name The Leafless Pterostylis - The Leafless Greenhood

Flower Size .48 to .6" [1.2 to 1.5 cm]

Found in Victoria and Tasmania Australia in heathlands, sedgelands, buttongrass plains and open forestsat elevations of 5 to 800 meters as a cold growing terrestrial with a rosette of basal, dark green, flat leaves arising after sedding that blooms in the spring through summer on an erect, 2.8 to 6" [7 to 15 cm] long, single to 5 flowered inflorescence.
